California Beagle Rescue
California beagle rescue rarely has puppies for adoption, yet it will always provide advice on training.
There are a number of non-for-profit organizations that take care of abandoned, lost, or abused dogs. Volunteers strive to educate breeders and owners on this hunting breed. They screen all potential adopters. Shelter officers will never let someone who is not trustworthy adopt a dog. A future owner is expected to be knowledgeable about the breed. An adoption procedure can take considerable time, because every new owner has to answer many questions to make sure he/she suits the needs of this breed.

California Beagle Rescue -
puppies, training
The breed is not for you if you cannot devote much time to training and exercise. Grooming is minimal with regular brushing and occasional bathing. The breed does well with children. However, these dogs should not be trusted with non-canine pets. Firm and consistent obedience exercises are very important for this breed. These small hunting hounds are intelligent, alert, and inquisitive. They tend to follow their nose and have a strong hunting instinct. Their owners are recommended to exercise their pets in safe areas. The main reasons for surrendering these hounds are difficulties in training and hyper activity. These problems are easy to avoid by buying from reputable ethical breeders. California beagle rescue rarely has puppies for adoption, yet it will always provide advice on training.
